Privacy Policy

We keep this short and honest. Here is what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

Linnet & Sage is run by Produit Pionnier OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia (EU).

We are the "controller" of your personal data. That means we decide how it is used, and we are responsible for it. We have not appointed a data protection officer. For any privacy question, just email hello@linnetandsage.com.

The short version

  • We collect only what we need to send you what you asked for.
  • We don't send marketing emails. Your email is used only to deliver what you asked for.
  • We do not sell your data.
  • Our site has no analytics, ads or tracking pixels.

What we collect and why

1. When you get the free Mental Load Reset Kit or buy a paid product

What: your email address. For paid products, also what our checkout partner needs to take payment (for example your name, billing country and payment details).

Why: to deliver your download and, for purchases, to process the order.

Legal basis: contract. We need your email to send what you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Without it, we can't deliver the file.

Who handles it: checkout and delivery run through Lemon Squeezy. See "Lemon Squeezy's role" below.

The delivery email only contains your download. It is not a newsletter.

2. Messages and comments on Instagram and YouTube

What: whatever you choose to write to @linnetandsage in a direct message or comment, and your public profile name.

Why: to read and reply to you.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Please note:

  • Messages may be read by the person behind the brand.
  • We can't give personal advice, and we don't answer crisis messages with advice. Gentle reminder: these are tools for everyday life. If you're struggling, talking to a professional or a local helpline is a strong step, not a weak one.
  • Please don't share health details in messages. If you do, we only use them to read and reply to you.
  • Instagram (Meta) and YouTube (Google) run their own platforms under their own privacy policies.

3. Basic security logs on our website

What: technical data your browser sends when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time.

Why: to keep the site running and safe, and to spot abuse.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time (see "Your rights").

Who handles it: our host, Vercel.

Cookies

Our site has no analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. It uses no cookies beyond what our host strictly needs to run the site. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Lemon Squeezy's checkout may use its own cookies. Its privacy policy explains them.

Lemon Squeezy's role

When you buy from us, you buy through Lemon Squeezy. It is the "merchant of record", which means it is the seller in the sale. It runs the checkout, takes payment, handles VAT, sends your receipt, and processes refunds. We create the products and license them to you.

For payment data, Lemon Squeezy is an independent controller. It uses that data under its own privacy policy:

Lemon Squeezy also stores buyers' email addresses in our store dashboard. We don't use those addresses for marketing.

Who else receives your data

We share data only with services we need to run Linnet & Sage:

We may also share data if the law requires it, for example with authorities or courts.

Data sent outside the EU

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under EU law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as described in their privacy policies. You can ask us about this at hello@linnetandsage.com.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for. Then we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer, such as accounting records.

For example:

  • Order and payment records: Lemon Squeezy keeps these under its own policy and legal duties.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • See the data we hold about you (access).
  • Correct it if it's wrong (rectification).
  • Delete it (erasure).
  • Limit how we use it (restriction).
  • Stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest (objection).
  • Send it to you or another service in a common format (portability).
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can fix it. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Estonia, that is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon): https://www.aki.ee. You can also contact the authority in your own country.

No automated decisions

We don't make decisions about you by automated means alone, including profiling, that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Children

Linnet & Sage is not aimed at anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from under-16s. If you think a child has given us their data, please email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top will always show the latest version. If a change is important, we will show it clearly on this page.
